Cats About Town Tours leads small-group history walks in Brooklyn Heights, the Financial District, the Lower East Side, and along Fifth Avenue. The routes connect archival animal stories to the people, buildings, and neighborhoods of old New York.

Peggy Gavan and Dan Rimada are co-founders. Peggy is the lead historian and guide, the creator of the Hatching Cat archive, and the author of "The Cat Men of Gotham" and "The Bravest Pets of Gotham."
