Discover Brooklyn Heights' Cat History
Brooklyn Heights already gives you brownstones, churches, old hotels, bridge views, and quiet streets. This tour uses those blocks to tell the cat stories that usually get left out: Ned on the Brooklyn Bridge, Jerry Fox at Borough Hall, firehouse cats, subway kittens, and hotel mascots.
The route is about 1.5 miles and moves at an easy pace. It is the best first Cats About Town route if you want classic Brooklyn scenery with deeply researched animal stories woven through it.
You will leave with a different map of the neighborhood in your head.
This tour is family-friendly and great for kids ages 5 and up who enjoy stories and walking.
